Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was a fisherman, as was his brother. It was to them that Jesus said, "I will make you fishers of men." Originally a disciple of John the Baptist, Andrew realized that Jesus was the Messiah and introduced him to Simon Peter. Andrew is said to have been crucified in Achaea.
