The Book of Romans was written by Paul. Although it is the first book after Acts, chronologically, it was written shortly after he wrote the second letter to the Corinthians. It was written in the year 57, in the sring. It lays out Paul's view of the Gospel and his teachings about God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. In it, he expounds upon the doctrines of faith, grace, sin, justification, sanctification, the resurrection, death, and divine punishment.
