This letter from Paul to the church at Corinth was written around 56 AD, after he learned that the congregation had become divided. Corinth was a metropolitan city which was located about fifty miles west of Athens, in the south of what is now Greece. In it, he addressed divisions, immoral conduct, and spiritual gifts, among other things. He talks about the return of Jesus, the doctrine of bodily resurrection, and describes the judgment seat.
