Jerry B. Jenkins often describes himself as "the most famous author you've never heard of". He is a writer-at-large for the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, after having been a vice president for publishing for the same institute and editor of Moody Magazine. He has written more than 160 books, including the wildly successful Left Behind series, which he co-wrote with Tim LaHaye. His nonfiction books include biographies of the "as told to" genre of Bill Gaither, Nolan Ryan, and Hank Aaron. He also helped Dr. Billy Graham write his memoirs, "Just As I Am". He has also written for Time, Guideposts, Parade, and scores of other Christian periodicals.
