The author of the "Bad Girls of the Bible" series of books, workbooks, and videos, Liz Curtis Higgs brings the stories about women in scripture to life. She has written 26 books, both fiction and nonfiction, and five children's books. She identifies herself a a "former bad girl," who was involved in a sex and drug lifestyle but was led to Christ by a Christian couple with whom she worked more than 25 years ago. She has a Bachelor degree in English and is married to Bill Higgs, Ph.D., and together they live in an old farmhouse in Louisville, Kentucky, with their two children and "too many cats".
