American Christian novelist Rene Gutteridge has written numerous novels and published more than 30 plays. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, a musician named Sean, and their children. She was the Director of Drama for a Methodist church for more than five years before she started writing full-time. She teaches at the university level and at various writers' conferences.
