James Scott Bell was raised in Los Angeles and went to school in Santa Barbara at UCSB. After graduating from USC Law School with honors, he became a litigator in Los Angeles. After seeing the movie "Moonstruck," he decided he wanted to write. His inspirational fiction includes "The Whole Truth," "Sins of the Fathers," and "The Nephilim Seed."
