On top of being the author of more than 25 books, Randy Alcorn is the founder and director of the nonprofit organization Eternal Perspective Ministries. EPM is dedicated to teaching biblical truth and also draws attention to the needy. The stated goal of EPM is to meet the needs of the unreached, unfed, unborn, uneducated, unreconciled and unsupported people around the world. Of his ministry, the author says, "My ministry focus is communicating the strategic importance of using our earthly time, money, possessions and opportunities to invest in need-meeting ministries that count for eternity. I do that by trying to analyze, teach and apply the implications of Christian truth."
