• ActionAid  - Working to eradicate poverty and injustice for the poor and excluded people around the world. Find projects, featured countries, and how to help.
• Brooks World Poverty Institute  - The University of Manchester's section for researching poverty, poverty reduction, inequality and growth in both the developed and developing worlds. Includes research information, newsletter, and events listing.
• CPRC: Chronic Poverty Research Centre  - An international partnership which exists to focus attention on chronic poverty, stimulate debate, deepen understanding, and provide research, analysis and policy guidance in order to reduce chronic poverty. Includes reports, policies, events, and news.
• Dining for Women  - Raises money for women and girls in extreme poverty by meeting monthly at dinners where participants bring their own food, and then donate the money they would have otherwise spent dining out.
• Humanrightstech  - Philadelphia based nonprofit organization created to leverage information technology in assisting and encouraging grassroots anti-poverty initiatives.
• KickStart  - Helping people get out of poverty. Handouts don't help long term, encouraging entrepreneurship creates self-sufficient families.
• Millennium Promise  - Organization intervenes in the lives of people from impoverished communities by providing opportunities for health, education, clean water, essential infrastructure and food production.
• ONE  - Organization that was started by Bono to raise awareness of the poverty and disease happening in Africa.
• Solar Aid  - Seeks to reduce poverty in Africa by sponsoring a variety of solar power projects, designed to train local communities on building and installing solar powered devices.
• Stop Child Poverty  - Campaigns the end of child poverty throughout the globe. Site provides an overview on the program as well as archived articles.
• Unitus  - Offers microfinance services which include small loans, insurance and savings programs designed to improve the lives of the poor.
