Millard Fillmore (January 7, 1800 - March 8, 1874) was the 13th U.S. President, serving from 1850 until 1853. He was the last member of the Whig Party to hold that office. He was Zachary Taylor's vice president, and succeeded Taylor when he died. He served out Taylor's term and did not win the nomination of the Whigs after that, despite support from a faction of the Know Nothing Party.
