George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 - ??), was the 41st President of the United States, serving from 1989 to 1993. Prior to his presidency, he served as Ronald Reagan's vice president, and for a short period of time after Reagan was shot, he was the only president to serve as "Acting President." He was a a congressman, ambassador to the UN, Chief of the United States Liaison Office in the People's Republic of China, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
