Míkmaw Languages

• Maliseet and Mi'kmaq  - Algonquian languages with similar vocabulary, pronunciation and accent.
• Mi'kmaq (Mi'kmawi'simk, Mi'kmaw, Micmac, Mikmaq)  - Recounts writing system, language trends, tribal name and traditional people.
• Native Council of Nova Scotia  - Self-governing authority for the Mi'kmaq/Aboriginal people serves and advocates for community development.
• Pjila'si - Mi'gmaq - Mi’kmaq  - Established in 1997 with seven words and two sentences. Presents talking dictionary project and writing system.
• Pronouncing Micmac  - Compiles list of vowels, blends, consonants and apostrophe with English-Micmac translations.
