• International Union of Crystallography (IUCr)  - Global alliance promoting international cooperation, research, and publication in crystallography. Also aims to facilitate the standardization of methods, units, nomenclatures, and symbols in the crystallography.
• Pittsburgh Diffraction Society  - Nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fundamental and applied diffraction and crystallographic research and information and ideas exchange.
• SIG Aperiodic  - European Crystallographic Association's special interest group on aperiodic crystals. Presents publications, software, conferences, updates, and related links.
• Society of Crystallographers in Australia in Australia and New Zealand (SCANZ)  - Alliance of scientists involved in the general area of crystallography. Site provides information on membership, conferences, events, and charter.
