• European Geoparks Network  - Formed to protect geodiversity and promote geological heritage/tourism to the general public. Includes guides to member "open-air geological museums", education resources, details of conferences, and news.
• Geoparks  - An article tracing the development of the concepts, first of European Geoparks, then Global Geoparks; includes links to UNESCO, conferences, and the network of parks worldwide.
• Hong Kong Geopark  - Offers an overview of the geological features of Hong Kong, with a visitors guide and educational resources.
• Kanawinka Global Geopark  - A guide to Australia’s most extensive volcanic area, in Victoria and South Australia, and its six Geosites of International Significance; also includes education materials, fact sheets, and visitor information.
• Langkawi Geopark  - An archipelago off the coast of Malaysia with a complex geological history, including evidence of a major strike by a meteorite; provides a comprehensive visitor guide to Langkawi, and background on the island's culture and geology.
• The Lesvos Petrified Forest Geopark  - An area of fossilized tree trunks petrified in place 20 million years ago, now a European and Global Geopark in Greece; includes an account of the geology, maps, educational materials, and a guide to the park's museum.
