• Ahmed H. Zewail  - 1999 Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry for the development of the transition states in chemical reactions using femtosecond spectroscopy.
• Alfred Werner  - Highlights the scientist that proved all ligand molecules are bound directly to the metal ion. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry on 1913.
• Antoine Henri Becquerel  - Won the Nobel Prize for the discovery of radioactive elements in 1896, together with Pierre Curie and Marie Curie.
