• Cartography and Geographic Information Science Center  - Geography Department facility compiles, designs, and produces professional publication quality maps and graphs.
• Center for By-Products Utilization  - Endeavors to bring to good and efficient use the often ingored products and materials derived from various synthesis or manufacturing processes.
• Center for Celtic Studies  - Academic center providing interdisciplinary and international educational opportunities such as on-campus instructions and study abroad options.
• Center for Economic Development  - University facility created to foster the UWM goal to apply university-based research and technical expertise in improving the quality of life in Wisconsin and nearby areas.
• Center for Economic Education  - Initiates various courses and programs to help augment the quality and quantity of economic education in schools.
• Center for International Education (CIE)  - Offers UWM faculty, staff, students and the public a range of international, global and area study programs.
• Center for Jewish Studies  - Helen Bader Foundation funded center conducts academic and community events to promote knowledge of the Jewish culture and traditions.
• Center for Technology Innovation  - School of Business unit responsible for coordinating research and teaching initiatives.
• Center for Urban Community Development  - School of Continuing Education facility helps citizens in the achievement of real community development.
• Center for Urban Transportation Studies  - Professional training and research facility conducts studies concerning land use, transit, travel forecasting, and other related topics.
• Center for Volunteerism and Student Leadership  - Promotes leadership and service ethics through a wide range of activities, events, and volunteer service works.

• Employment and Training Institute  - Dedicated to addressing the issues associated with workforce development, transportation, and the education needs of low-income workers in Wisconsin.

• Institute for Service Learning  - Enables students to gain further enriching experiences through organized community service activities.
• Institute of Urban Health Partnerships (IUHP)  - Serves as the liaison for linking the university faculty and staff with the expertise of public and private organizations in addressing health care issues. Gives a history, mission, and goals.

• Institute on Race and Ethnicity  - Acts as a catalyst for academic research and curricular innovation in the field of racial or ethnic studies.
• LGBT Resource Center  - Offering services and resources that connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals to the general community.
• Links Peer Outreach and Mentoring Center  - Seeks to create opportunities that allow students to gradually move in transition from being a private individual to being a public student.
• Marine and Freshwater Biomedical Sciences Center  - Regional center for non-mammalian aquatic model biomedical studies on environmental health problems.
• Norris Health Center  - Site posts health highlights, news, and tips. Also presents a health library and information on the center's services.
• Roberto Hernandez Center  - Provides advising and mentoring services to the UWM Latino student community. Named after one of the most active Latino leaders in Milwaukee during the 1970's.
• School of Education Centers  - Lists and profiles of the different research, academic, and service centers affiliated or associated with the UWM School of Education.
• Small Business Development Center  - Aims to explore viable business concepts and ideas for improved business performance by forging partnerships with new and established entrepreneurs.
• Student Accessibility Center  - Provides services particularly designed for students with disabilities - the deaf, the blind, the mentally challenged, and others.
• Tutoring and Academic Resource Center  - Service facility created to cater to the academic support needs of undergraduate students.
