• Center for Limnology  - Multi-disciplinary center created to plan, conduct, and facilitate inland freshwater research.
• Center for Neuroscience  - Providing administrative and programmatic support for the development of neuroscience.
• Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia  - US Department of Education Title VI National Resource Center. Created to foster new knowledge on the aforementioned regions and serve as a community resource.
• Center for South Asia  - Conducts research and provide programs of instruction relevant to understanding South Asian history, language, religion and culture.
• Center for Southeast Asian Studies  - College of Letters and Science unit that operates with federal funding to explore and better understand Southeast Asian culture, history, and society.
• Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention  - Site posts updates on the developments in tobacco research along with related information for healthcare providers, smokers, insurers, and employers.
• Center for Urban Population Health  - Collaborative endeavor among various medical institutions to address the health needs of Wisconsin.
• Center for Women's Health Research  - Nationally recognized center of excellence in women's health. Fosters leadership in health research, education, clinical care, community partnership, and advocacy.
• European Union Center of Excellence (EUCE)  - European Commission funded facility aims to highlight the role of the EU in global governance, discuss the importance of transatlantic relations, and present the importance of the EU models of governance on the US.
• General Clinical Research Center  - NIH-funded clinical facility that serves as an optimal platform for conducting safe and controlled medical research and investigations.
• Health Emotions Research Initiative  - Conducts investigations into the biological impact of security and positive emotions.
• Institute on Aging  - Details of the institute's activities, funding, programs, findings, and related conferences and seminars.
• Laboratory of Molecular Biology  - Research and academic facility that promotes interdisciplinary research in biology.
• Language Institute  - International foreign language education and research facility offers over 60 language programs of instruction.
• McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research  - Introducing the first basic science cancer center in an academic institution in the United States.

• Population Health Institute  - Aims to become a primary resource for useful public health and health policy research and analyses.
• Robert F. and Jean E. Holtz Center  - Collaborative effort to promote the understanding of science, technology, and medicine as human enterprises.
• UW Eye Research Initiative  - Information on the institute's mission, activities, faculty and staff. With newsletters and links to other related resources.
• Waisman Center  - Facility created to advance knowledge about human development, developmental disabilities, and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute  - Initiative that aims to comprehensively address the issues attached to Alzheimer's disease patient care and treatment.
• Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR)  - Tracking the construction of the research facility. With progress reports and live webcam shots.
• Wisconsin National Primate Research Center  - Lone national primate research center in the Midwest that operates with federal funding and support.
