Edgewood College, a small Dominican Catholic liberal arts college in Madison, Wisconsin, was built on land gifted to the Dominican Sisters by former Governor Cadwallader Colden Washburn in 1855. In 1881, St. Regina Academy opened as a private girls' school. It was established in its current incarnation in 1927.
