• Agricultural Experiment Station  - Dedicated to developing solutions to problems related to agriculture and land use.
• Capital Technology Employment Consortium  - Career lattice, information technology (IT) and telecommunications (TC) training program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration.
• Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning  - Academic and administrative office designated as the central unit for the collection, processing, interpretation, analysis and dissemination of “official” University data.
• Institutional Review Board  - UDC administrative body created to assure the protection and safety of human research participants.
• Office of Sponsored Research and Programs  - Provides assistance in building and maintaining university infrastructure that encourage faculty, staff, and student participation in sponsored research and programs.
• Radiation Safety  - Policies and procedures manual published as a guide for those engaged in applying or using ionizing radiation materials at the University of the District of Columbia.
• Water Resources Research Institute  - Legislatively chartered urban based water resources research institute. Provides Washington DC with research solutions to emerging water resource problems.
