• Center for Judaic Studies  - Platform for the interdisciplinary study of Judaism. Promotes the understanding of the Judaic component of religions and philosophical thought, history, and Western civilization arts.
• Center for Life Sciences Education  - Dedicated to promoting science literacy at the local, regional, and national levels. Raises public awareness of life science's technical and bioethical issues and provides academic programs for K-12 science and teachers.
• Center for School Community Collaboration  - Dedicated to reducing and preventing youth problems through collaborative community and school efforts.
• Center for Teacher Leadership  - Nonpartisan, nonprofit organization created to promote the idea of teachers as leaders, provide quality leadership trainings, and communicate teachers' insights with policymakers.
• Center for Teaching Excellence  - Provides the VCU community with group workshops, self-study materials, and consultations on basic and advanced teaching and learning process to further teaching excellence.
• Center for the Study of Biological Complexity  - Education and research unit specializes in exploring means to make use of integrative discovery science, systems biology, and the principles of complexity to address the challenges of the life sciences.
• Child Development Center  - Teaching facility specializing in early childhood education. Also serves as a continuing education resource for VCU faculty and students.
• Clinical Research Center for Periodontal Diseases  - Undertakes studies on gum diseases, particularly those commonly observed among teenagers and young adults.
• Commonwealth Educational Policy Institute  - Collaborative project of the CVU School of Education and the Center for Public Policy. Works for the development and implementation of research-based comprehensive educational public policy for elementary and secondary education.
• General Clinical Research Center  - Federally-funded research facility supporting a wide range of clinical investigations on health and diseases.
• Grace and Harris Leadership Institute  - Overview of the center and information on its programs, community initiatives, trainings, faculty, staff, and affiliates.
• Hume-Lee Transplant Center  - Patient care, research and education center dedicated to solid organ transplantation.
• Inger and Walter Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences  - University field station providing a platform for research, teaching and public service in a broad array of environmental subjects.
• Institute for Drug and Alcohol Studies  - Hosts multidisciplinary programs of training and research to explore and address issues related to alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.

• Molecular Imaging Center  - Comprehensive resource for enhancing basic, translational, and clinical research endeavors through imaging technologies.
• Mood Disorders Institute  - Dedicated to fostering scientific research to advance treatment knowledge for mood and anxiety disorders.
• Neurosurgical Center  - Site presents an overview of the center, information on its programs and services, and a physician and faculty directory.
• Partnership for People with Disabilities  - University center for excellence in developmental disabilities. Provides a wide range of programs and professional services to address handicapped people's needs.
• Sports Center  - VCU academic center providing an innovative graduate program in sport leadership.
• Surgical Weight Loss Center  - Multidisciplinary team of surgeons provide bariatric surgery services in two procedures: gastric bypass and band.
• Training and Technical Assistance Center  - Component of a statewide network created to link people and services supporting students with disabilities.
• Transportation Safety Training Center  - VCU Center for Public Policy division created to provide pertinent assistance to local and state transportation safety agencies and organizations.
• VCURES  - Virginia Commonwealth University Reanimation Engineering Shock Center - a multidisciplinary collaborative endeavor aimed at improving survival from the fatal physiological reaction called shock.

• Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics  - Facility established to serve as a platform for multidisciplinary and integrated research in the genetic epidemiology of psychiatric illness and human behavior.
