JMU Religious Organizations

• Aletheia  - Campus organization promotes religious dialogs and provides opportunities for students to engage in community service.
• Campus Crusade for Christ  - JMU chapter of an international, interdenominational Christian movement. Holds Bible studies and other activities that promote spirituality.
• Canterbury Episcopal Campus Ministry  - Student group affiliated with the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Provides opportunities for worship, study and fellowship.
• Catholic Campus Ministry  - Blog presentation covering the activities and providing information on the membership of the student-led campus ministry at JMU.
• Chi Alpha  - Christian fellowship fostering spiritual life through opportunities for worship, fellowship, discipleship and witness.
• Christian Student Union  - Student-led Christian fellowship promoting both inward development through prayer and an outward journey of service.
• Freethinkers  - Advocating for religious diversity. Provides a space where atheists, agnostics, and humanists can meet and discuss thoughts on freedom from organized religion.
• InterVarsity Christian Fellowship  - Interdenominational fellowship of students organized to spread the words and teachings of Jesus Christ.
• Into Hymn  - Christian a cappella music group composed of female vocalists.
• JWU Hillel  - Fully student-run organization and counselorship group for all Jewish students at James Madison University.
• Knights of Columbus  - Fraternal benefit society established to help Catholic men at JMU achieve spiritual stability and be of service to the community.
• Living Buddhism  - Religious organization aims to inform and educate JMU students about the Buddhist philosophy and religion.
• Lutheran Presbyterian Campus Ministry  - Announcements, calendar of activities, membership details, information on local churches, and links to related pages.
• Muslim Student Association  - Non-discriminating student group aimed at educating people about Islam and erasing stereotypes associated with such religion.
• Wesley Foundation  - JWU campus ministry of the United Methodist Church. Provides various programs and services that strengthen faith, foster leadership, and encourage service.
