Luckenbach is a tiny Hill Country community in Gillispie county near Fredericksburg. It first gained notoriety in the 1970'a when the late owner, Hondo Crouch, hosted concerts by Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and other "outlaw" country acts.
