Cordova is an unincorporated community in Shelby County, Tennessee. Located on the northeast side of Memphis, much of the community has been annexed to Memphis, and its boundaries are generally considered to be the Wolf River to the south, Whitten Road to the west, Interstate 40 to the north, and Pisgah Road to the east. Founded in 1835, Cordova was a farming village, known as Allentown, Marysville and Dexter before its name was changed to Cordova.
