• Center For Nuclear Research  - Consultation and research collaboration facility specializing in the structure and interaction of subatomic matter.
• Child Development Center  - Provides assistance to organizations in establishing high-quality child care centers that serve the needs of working families in Ohio.
• Counseling and Human Development Center  - Service unit providing personal and career counseling for students and other clients on a variety of concerns.
• Department of Pan-African Studies  - Presents information for current and future students, staff directory, and virtual tour of the facilities.
• Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education  - Support service for students and faculty in the College and Graduate School of Education. Promotes faculty exchange, research and scholarship, and study abroad opportunities. Includes staff directory and video.
• Information Architecture and Knowledge Management  - Site posts news and announcements, course schedules, and information on applying for the programs offered.
• Institute for Applied Linguistics  - Research and training unit with the College of Arts and Sciences. Pursues training goals related to translation or internationalization.
• Institute for Bibliography and Editing  - Facility created to support collected editions of major and famous personalities. Also provides bibliographical and author-related research and consultation services.
• Institute for Library and Information Literacy Education  - Provider of demonstration projects and other endeavors essential to integrating information literacy in classroom and library media centers.
• Institute for the Study and Prevention of Violence  - Interdisciplinary research unit dedicated to studying and addressing the causes of violence. Also provides consultation and violence-prevention program development services.
• Kent State LCI and CPIP  - Basic and applied research center that also serves as the home of Kent State University's Graduate Chemical Physics Interdisciplinary Program.
• Ohio Employee Ownership Center  - Externally-funded center aims to provide information and preliminary technical assistance concerning employee ownership, company acquisitions, and selling to employees.
• Ohio Literacy Resource Center  - Coordinates with government agencies and other organizations to support adult literacy programs and services in Ohio.
• Research Center for Educational Technology  - Facility dedicated to studying the impact of technology on teaching and learning. Also provides a collegial network for university researchers and K-16 educators who share the same research agenda.
