Andrews is a town in Cherokee County, North Carolina, with a total area of 1.4 square miles. Originally named Jamesville, it was known as Valley Town in the 1830s. The town was named for Col. A. B. Andrews, who the Richmond and Danville Railroad sent to the area to establish a commissary for railroad workers.
