• Building Energy and Environmental Systems Laboratory  - Facility established to help advance and develop science and technology in the areas of indoor environmental quality.
• CASE Center  - New York State initiated infrastructure for providing applied commercial focus and impetus to the study and development of computer applications and software engineering.
• Center for Environmental Systems Engineering (CESE)  - Research facility with an interdepartmental staff conducting research in the areas of environmental assessment and environmental technology.
• EQS STAR Center  - Environmental quality systems center established through a grant from the New York Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR). Serves as the principal research arm of the Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems at Syracuse University.
• Geofoam Research Center (GRC)  - Specializes in conducting studies on geofoam properties, developing innovative applications, and disseminating pertinent technical information and technology transfer.
• Institute for Manufacturing Enterprises (IME)  - Inter-sectoral partnership created to promote learning in manufacturing enterprises through teaching, application, integration, discovery, and service.
• Institute for Sensory Research  - Research, design, testing, and education facility specializing in the sensory systems field.
