• Feminist Research Institute  - Aims to produce scholarship on women, gender, and sexuality, and to create an intellectual community among feminist scholars at UNM.
• Institute for American Indian Research (IFAIR)  - Site provides an overview of IFAIR along with information on grants, fellowships, and faculty.
• Institute for Medieval Studies  - Provides various Medieval Studies programs dedicated to university and civic outreach and the enrichment of pertinent scholarship, teaching, and research.
• Institute for Social Research  - University research unit dealing with various social issues and challenges at the local, state, national, and international levels.
• Institute of Meteoritics  - Research institution dedicated to the study of early solar system and planetary evolution.
• International Studies Institute  - Overview of the institute with information on academic programs, upcoming events, and scholarships.
• Latin American and Iberian Institute  - Support unit for the administration of University of New Mexico's interdisciplinary degree programs in Latin American Studies.
• New Mexico Center for Particle Physics (NMCPP)  - Facility set up to promote cooperative programs in the general research areas of particle physics and particle astrophysics.
• Teachers' Institute  - Facility devoted to improving teachers' access to knowledge in all arts and sciences disciplines.
