• Center for Sustainable Health Outreach  - Training and education center supporting the role of community health workers as a component of sustainable community wellness.

• Gulf Coast Research Laboratory  - University facility dedicated to scientific discovery, new technology development, and education in the field of sustainable coastal and marine resources.
• Innovation for Construction and Engineering Enhancement (ICEE)  - Multidisciplinary industrial, educational, and research center. Aims to develop and implement educational technology and to enhance the economic development of the construction industry.
• Institute for Disability Studies (IDS)  - Mississippi's University center for excellence in developmental disabilities (UCEDD) research, education, and service.
• Interface  - R&D center created to develop relevant scientific knowledge for understanding and expanding the technology of polymeric coatings.
• International Coatings and Formulations Institute (ICFI)  - Fosters opportunities for industrial, academic, and governmental partnerships in the field of coatings and formulations research and development.

• Southern Regional Public Safety Institute (SRPSI)  - Multi-function public safety training facility. Offers in-service or advanced training across the broad spectrum of public safety areas.
• Statistical Analysis Center  - Statistical information and technical assistance center created by executive order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system in Mississippi.
• Workplace Learning and Performance Institute  - Platform for research and outreach in workplace learning and performance.
