• Marilyn J. Lass Center for Minnesota Studies  - Collection of reference and scholarly materials related to Minnesota with emphasis on the south-central region.
• Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence  - Education, training, and applied research center fosters partnerships between and among higher education, business, and industry to stimulate economic development.
• Minnesota River Basin Data Center  - Legislation-created center aims to provide for the inventory, development, retrieval, interpretation and dissemination of pedigreed information on topics that affect the Minnesota River Basin.
• MN Center for Automotive Research  - Platform for student and faculty research dealing with government agencies and industries that are developing alternative fuels.
• Organizational Effectiveness Research Group  - Faculty and staff researchers group undertaking projects in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program of Minnesota State University - Mankato.
