• Harvard Family Research Project  - Assists in developing strategies that promote the educational and social success and well-being of children, families and their communities.
• National Center for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy  - Collaborative between the World Education (a nonprofit) and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Aims to improve of the quality of practice in educational programs that serve adult learners.
• Project on the Next Generation of Teachers  - University initiative that assesses issues related to the future of America's teachers, with emphasis on attracting, retaining, and supporting quality teachers.
• Project Zero  - Aims to understand and enhance individual and institutional learning, thinking, and creativity in the arts and the humanistic and scientific disciplines.
