Belchertown with its hilltop location overlooks both the Connecticut and Quaboag Valleys. Home to the University of Massachusetts and the famed Quabbin Reservoir. The land here was originally granted to Jonathan Belcher who later became the Royal Governor of Massachusetts, and of course the towns namesake.
