An array of sports-related organizations are available for students on the College Park campus: badminton, martial arts, ballroom dancing, field hockey, equestrian, tennis, rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, and many more.

  • Aikido Club  - Registered sports organization affiliated with the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba (ASU), the main dojo in Washington D.C. in particular.
  • Badminton Club  - Student operated and funded sports club with a membership open to faculty, staff, students and alumni.
  • Ballroom at Maryland  - Group of dance enthusiasts offers a variety of dancing opportunities - for competitions, social occasions, or mere fun.
  • College Park Field Hockey Club  - Aims to provide a fun and competitive "playground" for students interested in collegiate field hockey.
  • Equestrian Club  - Fully equipped horseback riding facility where students can learn balanced seat English riding, instructing, horse training, practical horse care and barn management.
  • Equestrian Team  - Undergraduate students group furthers interest in horses, horseback riding, and intercollegiate equestrian competition.
  • Gymkana Troupe  - Outreach program of the College of Health and Human Performance. Promotes drug-free living and healthy lifestyles.
  • Maryland Club Tennis  - Aims to be a venue where tennis players who cannot play in the varsity team can enjoy and learn more about the sport. Membership is open to all full-time graduate and undergraduate students.

  • Maryland Fencing Club  - Provides opportunities and means for neophyte and veteran fencers to enjoy the sport or engage in friendly competitions.
  • Maryland Roller Hockey Club  - Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association affiliated group open to undergraduate students taking at least 12 credits or pursuing a graduate degree.
  • Maryland Rugby Football Club  - Sports organization promoting, playing, and teaching collegiate level rugby.
  • The Maryland Sailing Team  - Nationally recognized athletic program that competes in the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA).
  • Maryland Ski Team  - Facilitates competitive ski racing and race training. Aims to make skiing a means for establishing friendly relations.
  • Maryland Ultimate Frisbee  - Promotes the game Ultimate Frisbee, aiming to develop physical and mental skills and a sense of sportsmanship.

  • Terps Lacrosse Club  - Creates opportunities for interested students to play competitive lacrosse games in the National Collegiate Lacrosse League.
  • Terrapin Table Tennis  - Non-varsity sports club open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff.
  • Terrapin Waveriders  - Surf club of the University of Maryland at College Park. Engages in every form of surfing - be it on foot, belly, or bodysurfing.
  • University of Maryland Paintball  - Skim through details of the events and activities of this competition level paintball group.
