• Maine Irish Heritage Center  - The Center is concerned with preserving the former St. Dominic's church, a building that was built and used by Irish immigrant.
• NAACP Portland  - The Portland, Maine branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Membership facts, committees, a calendar of events, and action items.
• Portland Freedom Trail  - Established by the City of Portland, and marked with the installation of a granite and bronze marker at the Eastern Cemetery, chosen as it was the final resting place of many of Portland’s abolitionist leaders.
