Burnham is a town in Waldo County, Maine. It was incorporated on February 4, 1824 from Twenty Five Mile Plantation, and in 1873 it annexed a portion of Clinton Gore to complete its current area configuration. The town is located on the Sebasticook River, between Pittsfield and Clinton, connected by Maine Routes 11 and 100. The main village is on the northwestern shore of Unity Pond, while its second largest settlement, Burnham Junction, is located along both sides of the pond.
