Society and Culture: Charities: Food Banks

• Association of Arizona Food Banks  - Dedicated at developing financial support, relationship with partners, and resources to eliminate hunger in the region.
• Community Food Bank  - Non-profit organization that strives to fight hunger and severe malnutrition in Pima County. Contains advocacy, affiliate agencies, and programs.
• Northern Arizona Food Bank (NAFB)  - Serves Flagstaff and the northern Arizona area. Also active in helping the Native American population on the Navajo, Hopi, Yavapai, and Apache Reservations.
• St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance  - Coalition of food banks serving thirteen counties in the region through soliciting and warehousing of food items for distribution to the poor families and senior citizens.
• United Food Bank  - Seeks to alleviate hunger and malnutrition through its self-reliance, educational, and empowerment programs. Includes events, food campaign, and distribution information.
• Yuma Community Food Bank  - Serving the impoverished and low-income families in the western part of Arizona through emergency and supplemental food programs. Includes volunteer information, donor partners, and donation options.
