The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is located in the western Pacific Ocean. Consisting of fifteen islands, the main population area is Saipan which houses ninety percent of the commonwealth's population. The commonwealth is in union with the United States and official languages are English, Chamorro and Carolinian.
