• Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC)  - Community nonprofit group established to assess and promote clean-up projects in Hamilton Harbour and its watersheds. Collaborates with the government and private sectors to address issues harbour restoration issues.
• Environment Hamilton  - Nonprofit organization created to develop the knowledge and skills vital to protecting and enhancing the environment of Hamilton.
• Green Venture  - One of the founders of Green Communities Canada and Hamilton Area Eco-Network. Aims to link ideas and people to facilitate sustainable living and a cleaner and healthier community.
• Habitats of Hamilton - Halton  - Cartographic representation of Hamilton-Halton habitats including grasslands, wetlands, creeks, forests, and rural and urban areas.
