  • Mellette House  - Italianante 1885 Dakota Territory home of South Dakota's first governor Arthur Calvin Mellette.
  • Pettigrew Home and Museum  - Thomas and Jenny McMartin built the home in 1889. It was purchased by Senator Richard Franklin Pettigrew in 1911. Pettigrew was a world traveler, amateur archaeologist, and loved collecting.
  • Pyle House Museum  - Queen Anne architecture built in 1894, and was the home of Gladys Pyle the first elected woman US senator and South Dakota Secretary of State.
