  • Artesia Museum  - Moore-Ward house with its cobblestone facade was built in 1904. It contains a rotating collection of items and artifacts.
  • Dorsey Mansion Ranch  - Senator Stephen W. Dorsey built this log and masonry Victorian mansion in 1880. It even featured an 1880's swimming pool.
  • E.L. Blumenschein Home  - Artist E.L. and Mary Greene Blumenschein many treks to Taos led them to create the Taos Society of Artists. Their home shows many stages of life in this rural but artistic art colony.
  • Hacienda de los Martinez  - This "great house" was built 1804 by Severino Martin aka Martinez. He and his wife Maria del Carmel Santistevan Martinez raised their six children at this hacienda.
  • Kit Carson Home and Museum  - Kit Carson shared this single story adobe home with his wife Maria Josefa Jaramillo in 1843. This home was his base to return to during his active military career.
