• University at Buffalo Map Collection  - Large map collection in New York offering over 300,000 maps, 4,000 aerial photos, and 500 atlases that represent all regions of the world.

• University of Colorado at Boulder Map Library  - Houses a large collection of maps, atlases, resources, and digital spatial data. Includes tips for searching, research guides, hours, and location.
• University of Connecticut Libraries - Map and Geographic Information Center (MAGIC)  - Features a collection of maps, atlases, gazetteers, aerial photographs, and digital geospatial data.
• University of Michigan Map Library  - Features the largest collection of maps in the state. Describes the collection, services, and research guides.
• University of Minnesota John R. Borchert Map Library  - Information presented include library services, map collections, and catalog.
• USGS Library  - Site provides an overview on the library along with online catalogs, electronic reference collections, and updates on new acquisitions.

• William C. Wonders Map Collection  - Offers cartographic materials, geography indexes and abstracts, and spatial data resources and services.
• The Yale Map Collection  - Largest collection of maps in Connecticut and one of the largest university collections in the United States.
• York University Map Library  - Features a variety of materials including 104,457 maps plus a supporting collection of 5,657 atlases and books, which encompass periodicals, gazetteers, and geographical dictionaries.
