Climbing Organizations in Asia

• Academic Alpine Club of Kyoto  - Started in 1931. Accounts on the ascent of the Japanese to the Himalayan Peaks presented.
• Giri-Doot: Mountaineering Association of India  - Non-government organization composed of mountaineers from India. Presents details about the Himalayan expeditions of its members.
• Himalayan Mountaineering Club: Singapore  - Presents listing of expeditions and mountain treks within Nepal. Also outlines history of the organizations.
• Himalayan Rescue Association  - Non-profit rescue group for climbers of the Himalayan peaks. Facilitates trainings for rescuers and guides.
• Japanese Alpine Club  - Features the organization's publication containing articles of outdoor adventures or mountaineering expeditions.
• Kumagaya Sanryou-Kai Mountaineer's Club  - Contains mountain trip records and a map. Also lists mountaineering clubs within the city.
• Nanyang Technical University Mountaineering Club  - Mountaineers' association of students from Singapore. Services include course trainings on basic rock climbing and sports climbing clinics.
• Osaka Alpine Club  - Presents annual records of the member's climbing expeditions in the areas of west and far western Nepal as well as of Mt. Pasang Lhamu Chuli. Also contains information about the Himalayan regions.
