The Falkirk Wheel
The Millennium Link project had as its objective to restore navigability across Scotland on the historic Forth & Clyde Canal and Union Canal, regenerating activity throughout central Scotland. As a means of linking the Forth and Clyde canals, the Falkirk Wheel was constructed, becoming the world's first rotating boat lift.
