Warts are a viral skin disorder characterized by a firm abnormal rough growth or elevated blemish, typically appearing on the hands and feet. They look like solid blisters or cauliflower-like dapples on the skin. The identified cause of warts is the human papillomavirus (HPV). The cauliflower-looking wart clusters are called periungual wart and they are usually found around the nails. The venereal wart is a wart infection on the genitalia.
