• American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD)  - Organization dedicated to advancing the science and practice of hepatology, liver transplantation, and hepatobiliary surgery as well as promoting liver health and optimal care for patients of liver and biliary tract diseases.
• American Liver Foundation  - Non-profit group dedicated to promoting liver health and disease prevention though research, education, and advocacies. With educational resources provided for patients and clinicians.
• American Liver Society  - Advocacy and support society founded for those infected with hepatitis C and other blood borne liver diseases through tainted blood and blood products.
• Americas Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association (AHPBA)  - Organization supporting the academic careers and young researchers involved in the study of liver, bile duct, and pancreatic diseases. Promotes the exchange of clinical and scientific knowledge and fosters education and career development.
• ANTHC: Liver Disease and Hepatitis Program  - Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium shares mission, vision, values, and programs.
• British Liver Trust  - Charity group that provides awareness about the disease and support for people suffering from the disorder. Includes an annual report of the group's activities and fund raising events.
• Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver Association  - Nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating liver diseases through research, education, and advocacy.
• Canadian Liver Foundation  - Contains details on liver disease prevention and treatment, volunteering opportunities, list of upcoming events, and donation options for donors.
• Canadian PBC Society  - Promotes education and support for patients and their families, as well as fund raising activities for PBC-related medical research. Contains a membership form for interested participants.
• International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA)  - Official site presents the IHPBA history and statement of purpose, officers, committees, bylaws, associations and chapters, events, and publications and guidelines.
• International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS)  - Aims to promote and disseminate multidisciplinary scientific developments in liver transplantation internationally through an annual congress, monothematic meetings, journal issues, and various awards and scholarships.
• Korean Association for the Study of the Liver  - Seeks to advance the science and medical practice of liver and biliary disease. Holds regular meetings and symposia and helps strengthen relationships with other national and international hepatology organizations.
