Documents, in computing language, originally referred to files created in a word processor. With the development of technologies though, including the migration of the terminology to the Windows environment, "document" at present refers to a data file regardless of the software application used to create it.
This category shall be limited to the original reference of the word "document." It shall include texts, the .doc format, OpenDocument format, XML, and others created using word processors. Sites about other "documents" such as graphics, sounds, and videos are listed in separate categories.
