James Earl Jones, award winning actor famous for his basso voice, had a devastating stutter as a child. It was so bad, in fact, that he did not speak from the age of 5 until he was 13. His first movie was a bit part in the 1964 movie "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb." He is perhaps most famous as the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars films.
