Sir Michael Caine was born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite, Jr. on Marcy 14, 1933 in Rotherhithe, Southeast London. He has wone Academy Award nominations for acting in every decade since the 1960s, making him unique in that regard, aside from Jack Nicholson, who is the only other actor to accomplish that feat. He has been in more than 100 films, including "The Man Who Would Be King," and "The Cider House Rules."
