Humphrey DeForest Bogart was born Christmas 1899 and died January 14, 1957. Known affectionately as "Bogie," he began acting in 1921. He appeared in more than 75 movies, including "Angels with Dirty Faces," "The Maltese Falcon," "Casablanca," and "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." He married Lauren Bacall, and they had two children.
