Eve Arden (April 30, 1908-November 12, 1990) starred in the radio and then television classic "Our Miss Brooks," as well as the movies "Grease" and "Grease 2." At birth, her name was Eunice M. Quedens, and in 1934, she made her Broadway debut in that year's "Ziegfeld Follies." She died of colorectal cancer and heart disease when she was 82.
