Born Alphonso Joseph D'Abruzzo on January 28, 1936, Alan is best known for his role as Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H, the television series which ran from 1972 until 1973. He has also penned his memoirs, entitled "Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself."
